I am a licensed therapist offering individual therapy to adolescents and transition age youth (14-25 years old) and adults. Family therapy is available as needed. Therapy includes assessment, diagnosis, and joint creation of a treatment plan that will allow us to have goals to work towards in therapy. Additionally, throughout your time in treatment we will review progress and those goals together to ensure we are still on track, adjust as needed, and track progress towards your desired outcomes.
When working with adolescent clients there is a variety of ways we can involve, or not involve parents. Each client’s needs are different, and confidentiality/parent involvement will be discussed up front to ensure we are on the same page and creating a space that is the most supportive of the adolescent’s needs in therapy. I find it important that the client “drive” therapy and make decisions about what to work on, how to work on it, and who to involve in that process, and will share my recommendations when appropriate, as we work together.
